About Us

In 2021, on the cusp of changing job while pregnant, our founder Caoimhe decided it was now or never to launch DEFRÉIN.

DEFRÉIN was founded from a seed of an idea that was captured on Caoimhe’s Vision Board. Three collections of sustainable jewellery were launched each named after the female who inspired Caoimhe - Lua (a primary school teacher), Ainnir (her niece) and Phil (her mamó).

It was always her dream to own a Craft Business, it was not until this dream was captured on her Vision Board that it became a reality.

Featured multiple times in the Irish Times and Irish Country magazine, Caoimhe was asked for her recipe to success… the answer was simple, a combination of:

1. clarity - clarity of goals, intentions and priorities in life

2. focus - focus achieved by daily reflection on her Vision Board

3. mindset - the belief that anything is possible

In 2023, our Life Design Workshops were launched. With the aim of empowering participants to live intentionally, overcome limiting beliefs, and to realise their full potential i.e. Live by Design, not by Default.

DEFRÉIN continues to grow and evolve. We offer:
